Design of multiprobe for fuel-elements cladding eddy current testing [PDF]
Abstract This article presents a study of the eddy current flaw detector (ECFD) numeric model in order to choose the necessary parameters for zirconium pipes control. As a result of mathematical modeling, the multiprobe ECFD was designed and the eddy flaw control conditions were found.

In-reactor measurement of fuel element cladding temperatures [PDF]
A design was developed for leading thermocouples from a high-temperature, pressurized water reactor-coolant system of such integrity that no reactor shutdowns were caused by its use. Using this design, measurements of the fuel-element-cladding temperature and its variation with time were made in three tests on elements clad in type X-8001 aluminum ...

As presented in the graphical abstract, it depicts an image of a terahertz photonic crystal fiber (THz‐PCF) sensor with a polygonal shape in the core, which is filled with an analyte, and air slots in the cladding. The THz waves will travel through the fiber, and due to increased light‐matter interaction in the sensing region, changes in refractive ...
