Modeling Zero‐Gap Saltwater Electrolysis With Advective Flow Through a Thin‐Film Composite Membrane

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 3, February 2026.
During saltwater electrolysis with a thin‐film composite membrane, ion and water transport are coupled. The direction of water flux follows that of the dominant salt ion carrying charge. When Na+ transport from the anode to the cathode is dominant, fluid flow occurs in the same direction.

Coal slurry fuel technology

The Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, 1987
AbstractVolatile oil markets experienced in the seventies have promoted renewed interest in coal‐based fuel technologies. Coal‐slurry fuels have emerged as viable technical alternatives for oil and gas in utility and industrial boilers. Despite current low prices and the abundance of oil, concerns over its long‐term availability and price, as well as ...

Bio-mass based slurry fuel

2015 IEEE 9th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO), 2015
In India it is estimated that around 250 million tons of biomass is available. A large percentage of this is available bio-mass can be used for energy conversion. Coconut shell, ground nut husk and coffee husk are used for energy conversions which are abundantly present in India.
