Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Ru nanoparticles confined within mesoporous SiOx‐pillared montmorillonite exhibit exceptional performance for CO2 methanation. The catalyst maintains a high reaction rate even at elevated CO2 conversion while preserving high Ru mass–specific activity, overcoming typical inhibition by H2O and CO observed in conventional supported Ru catalysts.
