Hysterectomy in the Hausa/Fulani population in Nigeria
International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, 1981Two hundred and sixty-five abdominal hysterectomies performed in Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria (ABUTHZ) Nigeria form the basis of this study. The commonest indication for operation was fibroids with or without chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.
