Joint User Scheduling and Power optimization in Full-Duplex Cells with Successive Interference Cancellation

open access: yes, 2017
This paper considers a cellular system with a full-duplex base station and half-duplex users. The base station can activate one user in uplink or downlink (half-duplex mode), or two different users one in each direction simultaneously (full-duplex mode).

Design and Performance Analysis of a Novel MAC Protocol for Full Duplex Wireless Network

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2015
Two independent frequency bands are used for half duplex radios to realize simultaneous transmission and reception.Recently, full duplex radios are allowed to transmit and receive data packets simultaneously in one frequency band.To improve the ...

Secrecy Rate Optimization in Wireless Multi-Hop Full Duplex Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Physical layer security and full duplex have been two widely applied techniques in wireless communications community, where the physical layer security can prevent eavesdropping without the upper layer data encryption, while the full duplex can improve ...

Research on Energy Efficiency Optimization of Full-duplex D2D Communication Links

open access: yesGuangtongxin yanjiu, 2021
Aiming at the problems of interference and energy consumption caused by the introduction of Device-to-Device (D2D) communication in the cellular system, this paper proposes to first combine D2D communication technology with full-duplex transmission ...

Diversity-Multiplexing Tradeoffs in MIMO Relay Channels

open access: yes, 2008
A multi-hop relay channel with multiple antenna terminals in a quasi-static slow fading environment is considered. For both full-duplex and half-duplex relays the fundamental diversity-multiplexing tradeoff (DMT) is analyzed.

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

SWIPT in MISO full-duplex systems [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Communications and Networks, 2017
This paper investigates a multiuser multiple-input singleoutput (MISO) full-duplex (FD) system for simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT), in which a multiantenna base station (BS) simultaneously sends wirelessly information and power to a set of single-antenna mobile stations (MSs) using power splitters (PSs) in the downlink and ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Inter-User Interference Cancellation Scheme for 5G-Based Dynamic Full-Duplex Cellular System

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Vehicular Technology
Improving spectral efficiency is an important issue for the next generation of the 5th generation mobile communication (5G) systems. Full-duplex cellular (FDC) and dynamic-FDC (DDC) systems based on the 5G signal format (5G-FDC and 5G-DDC) have gained ...

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.
