Early surgery, meniscal injury and physiologic contralateral knee extension deficit are associated with extension loss prior to anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose To identify factors associated with knee extension loss prior to anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction (ACLR). Methods Patients without concomitant ligament injuries who underwent primary ACLR at the Capio Artro Clinic, Stockholm, Sweden, between 1 January 2002 and 31 December 2023, were eligible for inclusion. The outcome of

Additional lateral meniscus centralization reduces residual anterolateral rotatory instability after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and lateral meniscus repair

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose This study aimed to examine the effects of lateral meniscus (LM) centralization on anterolateral rotational stability in patients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and LM injuries. The hypothesis was that performing LM repair and centralization on knees with LM lesions would control anterolateral rotatory instability (ALRI ...

Combining multibeam and single beam echosounders for quantifying gas bubble release from the seafloor

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography: Methods, EarlyView.
Abstract Marine gas bubble release is a worldwide phenomenon that impacts the local marine ecosystem and contributes to carbon fluxes with respect to global warming. It is still challenging to assess gas flow for large seep areas (tens of km2), but recent advances in calibrating and processing multibeam echosounder (MBES) data make this problem ...

Highly Durable and Uniform Structural Coloration via Spray‐Coated Organic Mie Resonators Randomly Distributed in Three Dimensions

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates uniform, durable non‐iridescent structural coloration using polystyrene nanoparticles randomly embedded in a thick sodium silicate with absorptive additives. By suppressing the effects of the structure factor and multiple scattering, this approach achieves uniform coloration from the backscattering.

Not All Open Minds Think Alike: How Rational and Intuitive Open‐Mindedness Shape Responses to Religious Advertising

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines how consumer responses to religious advertising are influenced by two dimensions of open‐mindedness: rational and intuitive. Across three experiments, participants viewed ads that varied in the strength of their religious cue.
