Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Existence analysis of power flow solution considering LVRT of a full-power converter

open access: yesZhejiang dianli, 2023
Power flow solution of the system with a full-power converter may get lost during low-voltage ride-through (LVRT). Therefore, the change law of grid equivalent parameters and power flow characteristics during the fault is analyzed, and the law of influence of different system variables on the existence of power flow solution is analyzed qualitatively ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Designation and Investigate of a Full-Wave Controller Rectifier (FWCR) for Effect Source Inductance for Full Wave Rectifier

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
The full wave rectifier with RL load consists of all the SCRs as controlled devices. This full wave converter can operate in quadrants and output voltage can be negative in case of inductive loads. The power factor is poorer than a half converter, as the

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Zero voltage switching with reduced current stress for LED lighting applications

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
Lighting systems using light emitting diode (LED) have drawn significant attention across the world. Nevertheless, to maintain a steady light output, these systems necessitate constant current regulators.

Watkins-Johnson Topology Integrated in a Full-Bridge Converter

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2017
Electrical thrusters require high power and High Voltage (HV) of 300V to 2000V depending on the thruster technology. A converter suitable for this application should have a high power handling capability (full bridge converter) and a simple output stage (

An optimal reactive power control scheme for rectifying station considering the coordination control of low-voltage reactor and AC system

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
When rectifier station of line-commutated converter based high-voltage direct transmission current has power fluctuations running at large load, reactive power compensator controlled in groups at rectifying station are switched frequently.
