Molecular Model Manufacturing Method For Fullerene C_<60> [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Fullerene C_ is a soccer ball-like molecule which has 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons. All carbon atoms in this molecule take the same chemical bond style, a single 108° angle and two 120° angles, for chemical bonds.

Unlocking Exceptional Strengthening in Aluminum Alloys via Interstitial Cottrell Atmosphere Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cyclic unloading‐aging‐reloading micro‐tensile tests under various aging durations and temperatures, combined with comprehensive microstructural characterization reveal that the yield point phenomenon in Aluminum‐Carbon (Al‐C) thin films originates from Cottrell atmosphere formation.

Phase Evolution Kinetics in Additive‐Free 19.75% Organic Photovoltaics Empowered by Solvent Vapor Annealing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solvent vapor annealing enables kinetic control of additive‐free morphology in organic solar cells. Selective plasticization of acceptor forms an optimal fibrillar network, boosting efficiency to 19.06% (binary) and 19.75% (ternary), with ultrafast exciton dissociation and reduced recombination.

Fullerene derivatives and fullerene superconductors [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1993
Abstract A series of 1:1 C 60 cycloaddition adducts, C 60 A (A = anthracene, butadiene, cyclopentadiene and methylcyclopentadiene), has been synthesized. The products are cleanly separated and characterized by use of TGA, 1 H-NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry. Among these adducts, C 60 , (methylcyclopentadiene) showed the highest thermal stability and

Advancing Tandem Organic Solar Cells With Ternary Acceptor Control for High‐Power Modules and Solar‐to‐Ammonia Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Tandem organic solar cells with optimized ternary acceptor engineering achieved a power conversion efficiency of 15.53% and enabled a high‐voltage mini‐module (Voc 6.11 V). Integration into a bias‐free PV‐EC system further demonstrated efficient solar‐to‐ammonia (STA) conversion (97% Faradaic Efficiency, 4± 2% STA efficiency), highlighting scalable ...

Antigenicity of fullerenes: Antibodies specific for fullerenes and their characteristics [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1998
The recent interest in using Buckminsterfullerene (fullerene) derivatives in biological systems raises the possibility of their assay by immunological procedures. This, in turn, leads to the question of the ability of these unprecedented polygonal structures, made up solely of carbon atoms, to induce the production of specific antibodies.
