Total synthesis of fulvic acid

Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1984
Synthesis of fulvic acid (1a) was accomplished by a route involving selective ozonization of 9-propenylpyranobenzopyran (1c), obtained by a regioselective cyclization of the 2-methylsulphinylmethyl 1,3-dione(3c).

Biological decomposition of fulvic acid preparations

Folia Microbiologica, 1976
Decomposition of preparations of various fractions of fulvic acids in pure cultures of bacteria and in the soil was investigated. In the soils enriched with fulvic acids the amount of bacteria increased, oxygen consumption and formation of carbon dioxide followed a typical sigmoid curve.

Polarity based fractionation of fulvic acids

Chemosphere, 2009
Fulvic acids from the soil of Peking University (PF) and a Nordic river (NF) were separated into well defined sub-fractions using sequential elution techniques based on eluent polarity. The chemical properties of the fractions including: PF1 and NF1 (eluted by 0.01 M HCl), PF2 and NF2 (eluted by 0.01 M HCl+20% methanol), PF3 and NF3 (eluted by 0.01 M ...

Fulvic acid fractions from mumie

Proceedings. The 8th Russian-Korean International Symposium on Science and Technology, 2004. KORUS 2004., 2005
Fulvic acids (FA) from mumie (shilajit) were fractionated by size exclusion chromatography and characterized by IR, NMR /sup 1/H and mass spectra. The presence of functional groups that are usually responsible for antiradical groups that are usually responsible for antiradical action was indicated.

Acid-base properties of aquatic fulvic acid

Analytica Chimica Acta, 1985
Abstract The acid-base properties of aquatic fulvic acid, concentrated from the Gota River, were studied by means of potentiometri titrations. The forward and reverse titrations exhibited hysteresis, which decreased as the fulvic acid underwent repeated titration.

Protonation reactions of fulvic acids

Journal of Soil Science, 1988
SUMMARY The protonation reactions of fulvic acids are described in terms of a model involving a mixture of n monoprotic acids HA, HB, HC … pH titration data were analysed by nonlinear least squares methods, using a model having n ...

Fulvic acid in broiler growing
