Fractionation of fulvic acids: Characteristics and complexation with copper [PDF]
Two fulvic acid samples isolated from Suwannee river (International Humic Substance Society) and Feeitsuey reservoir were subjected to gel filtration chromatography (GFC) for molecular size fractionation. The GFC-eluted samples were separated into three groups corresponding to the molecular weight ranges: < 220, 220-1000, and 1000-4000.

Phosphorus adsorption and release dynamics in calcareous soil as affected by humic and fulvic acids
Humic and fulvic acids play a crucial role in enhancing phosphorus retention in calcareous soils. These organic acids increase phosphorus fixation on soil surfaces, thereby strengthening its binding and modifying its availability in the soil solution ...

ABSTRACT This study evaluated the long‐term effects of a dietary humic substance and butyrate blend (HSB) alone or with yeast cell wall (Beta‐MOS) in channel catfish. Around 1440 fish (31.31 ± 0.24 g) were distributed among 12 outdoor tanks in a pond‐supplied flow‐through design. Four dietary treatments were evaluated in triplicate: Diets containing no

Iron Physiology and Its Impact on Atopic Diseases: An EAACI Taskforce Report
ABSTRACT Iron is essential for oxygen transport, energy metabolism, and immune regulation. Yet iron deficiency is the most common micronutrient disorder across all age groups, affecting nearly one quarter of the global population. Iron deficiency triggers nutritional immunity, a host defense mechanism that withholds and redistributes iron, contributing

Effect of potassium fulvate on continuous tobacco cropping soils and crop growth
Long-term continuous cropping of tobacco causes dysbiosis of soil microbial communities, the imbalance of soil nutrients, and the increase of pathogenic bacteria, which will slow the growth and development of tobacco plants, reduce the production quality,

Influence of fulvic acid on reproductive performance and disease resistance of mink
The experiment explored the influence of adding fulvic acid in diet on reproductive performance of female mink and disease resistance of weaned mink. 120 female minks were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with three replicates in each group
