Periodic Boundary Value Problems for Functional Differential Equations with Impulses
The author obtains existence results for periodic solutions of functional differential systems with impulses. He makes use of the coincidence degree theory and of the notions of strict bounded set and guiding function adapted to the impulsive case. When the impulsive effects are absent, the results reduce to some theorems by \textit{J.

From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

This paper examines fractional multi-time scale stochastic functional differential equations that, in addition, are driven by fractional noises. Based on a specially crafted fixed-point principle for the so-called “local operators”, we prove a Peano-type

Existence for neutral impulsive functional differential equations with nonlocal conditions
The authors consider an initial value problem for a neutral functional differential equation with impulses at pre-assigned moments of time and they prove existence and uniqueness results concerning the solutions of the corresponding integral equation and the solutions of the differential system itself.

A combinatorial library of dual‐functional antiviral oligomers incorporating N‐halamine and quaternary ammonium functionalities is developed for long‐lasting antiviral activity. The lead materials exhibit rapid and durable antiviral activity against SARS‐CoV‐2 variants and influenza H1N1, with 4 to 5 log reduction in viral copies at 5 mg mL−1 ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Periodic solutions for neutral functional differential equations with impulses on time scales
Let $mathbb{T}$ be a periodic time scale. We use Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem to show that the neutral functional differential equation with impulses $$displaylines{ x^{Delta}(t)=-A(t)x^sigma(t)+g^Delta(t,x(t-h(t)))+f(t,x(t),x(t-h(t))),quad ...

Modulating Electrochemical CO2 Reduction Pathways via Interfacial Electric Field
Engineering interfacial electric fields in Cu/ITO electrodes enables precise control of CO2 reduction pathways. Charge transfer from Cu to ITO generates positively charged Cu species that steer selectivity from ethylene toward methane. This work demonstrates how interfacial electric‐field modulation can direct reaction intermediates and transform ...
