The Many Roles of A-to-I RNA Editing in Animals: Functional or Adaptive?
Metazoan adenosine-to-inosine (A-to-I) RNA editing is a highly conserved mechanism that diversifies the transcriptome by post-transcriptionally converting adenosine to inosine.

In this paper, we have given the applications of homogeneous differential polynomials to the Nevanlinna’s theory of meromorphic functions in the finite complex plane and given some generalizations by these polynomials.

We present a formalism that represents pure states, mixtures and generalized states as functionals on an algebra containing the observables of the system. Along these states, there are other functionals that decay exponentially at all times and therefore

Stochastic density functional theory [PDF]
Linear-scaling implementations of density functional theory (DFT) reach their intended efficiency regime only when applied to systems having a physical size larger than the range of their Kohn-Sham density matrix (DM).

Bayesian function‐on‐function regression for multilevel functional data [PDF]
SummaryMedical and public health research increasingly involves the collection of complex and high dimensional data. In particular, functional data—where the unit of observation is a curve or set of curves that are finely sampled over a grid—is frequently obtained.

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

Functional Derivative of the Zero Point Energy Functional from the Strong Interaction Limit of Density Functional Theory [PDF]
We derive an explicit expression for the functional derivative of the subleading term in the strong interaction limit expansion of the generalized Levy--Lieb functional for the special case of two electrons in one dimension.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.
