Problematic Internet Use in Frontotemporal Dementia: A Case Series
ABSTRACT The present study investigated problematic internet use (PIU) among 61 patients with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) compared to a cohort of 354 patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's dementia. PIU was identified in 22.9% of FTD patients compared to only 0.8% of AD patients (p < 0.001). Behaviors included compulsive social

MOGAD Is the Most Common Cause of Isolated Optic Neuritis in Children
ABSTRACT Objectives The study aimed to characterize the clinical features, etiologies, and outcomes of isolated, first‐time pediatric ON in the post‐MOG‐IgG era. Methods This was a single‐center retrospective cohort study at Texas Children's Hospital of patients diagnosed with first‐time ON between 2018–2024, with follow‐up data collected through 2025.

Impact of Plasma p‐tau181 on Cognition, Motor Phenotypes, and Disease Course in ALS
ABSTRACT Phosphorylated tau181 (p‐tau181), an Alzheimer's disease biomarker, was recently evaluated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). We investigated plasma p‐tau181 in 202 ALS/ALS‐FTD patients and 94 healthy controls, assessing cognitive performance, motor function, and longitudinal dynamics.

Functional Patent Classification
Patent classifications are systematically used in patent analysis for a number of purposes. Existing classifications not only shape the administrative activities of recording and reporting and the search for prior art, but also create the backbone of the construction of science and technology indicators used in economic analysis, policy making, and ...

Functional Classification of Websites
Proceedings of the Eighth International Symposium on Information and Communication Technology, 2017We propose a novel method to classify websites based on their functional purpose. A website is classified either as single service, brand or service directory. We utilize a number of features that are derived from the link of the website, the postal addresses found in the website, the size of the website, and the text of the anchor element in the ...

Classification of Current Scoring Functions
Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling, 2015Scoring functions are a class of computational methods widely applied in structure-based drug design for evaluating protein-ligand interactions. Dozens of scoring functions have been published since the early 1990s. In literature, scoring functions are typically classified as force-field-based, empirical, and knowledge-based. This classification scheme

Functional trees for classification
Proceedings 2001 IEEE International Conference on Data Mining, 2002The design of algorithms that explore multiple representation languages and explore different search spaces has an intuitive appeal. In the context of classification problems, algorithms that generate multivariate trees are able to explore multiple representation languages by using decision tests based on a combination of attributes.
