Abstract In the target article ‘Functional and Descriptive Contextualism’ the argument is made that Functional Contextualism may benefit from the Interbehavioral tradition. This commentary supports this perspective. The Functional Contextual approach is elaborated, and some of its weaknesses are highlighted.
