Functional inequalities for modified Struve functions [PDF]
By using a general result on the monotonicity of quotients of power series, our aim is to prove some monotonicity and convexity results for the modified Struve functions. Moreover, as consequences of the above-mentioned results, we present some functional inequalities as well as lower and upper bounds for modified Struve functions.

A functional inequality on the boundary of static manifolds [PDF]
On the boundary of a compact Riemannian manifold $(\Omega, g)$ whose metric $g$ is static, we establish a functional inequality involving the static potential of $(\Omega, g)$, the second fundamental form and the mean curvature of the boundary $\partial \

On the Stability of Generalized Additive Functional Inequalities in Banach Spaces
We study the following generalized additive functional inequality , associated with linear mappings in Banach spaces. Moreover, we prove the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the above generalized additive functional inequality, associated with linear ...

Application of Functionals in Creating Inequalities
The paper deals with the fundamental inequalities for convex functions in the bounded closed interval. The main inequality includes convex functions and positive linear functionals extending and refining the functional form of Jensen’s inequality.

3D porous carbons with tunable density are crucial for energy storage, separations, and load‐bearing applications; however, their fabrication is often constrained by shrinkage during pyrolysis. This study optimizes and demonstrates the versatility of a template–coating pair strategy, producing materials that largely retain their shape and hierarchical ...

Inequalities for Cyclic Functions
The cyclic functions are defined as the cyclic partial sums of the exponential function \[ \varphi_n(z):=\sum_{\nu=0}^\infty {z^{n\nu}\over (n\nu)!} \qquad (z\in {\mathbb C},\;2\leq n\in{\mathbb N}). \] In the special case \(n=2\), \(\varphi_2\) is the classical cosine hyperbolic function.

A Minimal Set of Shannon-type Inequalities for Functional Dependence Structures
The minimal set of Shannon-type inequalities (referred to as elemental inequalities), plays a central role in determining whether a given inequality is Shannon-type. Often, there arises a situation where one needs to check whether a given inequality is a

Minimax passband group delay nonlinear FIR filter design without imposing desired phase response [PDF]
In this paper, a nonlinear phase finite impulse response (FIR) filter is designed without imposing a desired phase response. The maximum passband group delay of the filter is minimized subject to a positivity constraint on the passband group delay ...
