Active and Passive Offline Breaks Differentially Impact the Consolidation of Procedural Motor Memories in Children and Adults

open access: yesBrain and Behavior
Introduction Short post‐learning breaks, lasting from 5 to 30 min, transiently enhance procedural motor memory performance in adults. However, the impact of activity type (active vs.

Multiscale Neuroimaging Features for the Identification of Medication Class and Non-Responders in Mood Disorder Treatment [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In the clinical treatment of mood disorders, the complex behavioral symptoms presented by patients and variability of patient response to particular medication classes can create difficulties in providing fast and reliable treatment when standard diagnostic and prescription methods are used.

Neural electrodes for brain‐computer interface system: From rigid to soft

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Here, we review the development trends of neural electrodes in BCI. This paper highlights the critical role of electrodes in BCI systems, analyzes the limitations of rigid electrodes, and introduces various flexible electrodes. Furthermore, we discuss application scenarios and prospects of BCI electrode technology, aiming to provide valuable references

Attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder and white matter microstructure: The importance of dimensional analyses and sex differences

open access: yesJCPP Advances, Volume 2, Issue 4, December 2022., 2022
Sex differences in ADHD have not been adequately considered, particularly for studies of fractional anisotropy (FA), a measure of white matter microstructural development. Results here demonstrate that ADHD symptom domains are differentially related to FA, highlighting the multi‐componential nature of the disorder.
