Early Language Impairment as an Integral Part of the Cognitive Phenotype in Huntington's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Huntington's disease (HD) speech/language disorders have typically been attributed to motor and executive impairment due to striatal dysfunction. In‐depth study of linguistic skills and the role of extrastriatal structures in HD is scarce.

Bayesian Tensor Factorized Vector Autoregressive Models for Inferring Granger Causality Patterns from High-Dimensional Multi-subject Panel Neuroimaging Data [PDF]
Understanding the dynamics of functional brain connectivity patterns using noninvasive neuroimaging techniques is an important focus in human neuroscience. Vector autoregressive (VAR) processes and Granger causality analysis (GCA) have been extensively used for this purpose.

ABSTRACT C‐truncating variants in the charged multivesicular body protein 2B (CHMP2B) gene are a rare cause of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), previously identified only in Denmark, Belgium, and China. We report a novel CHMP2B splice‐site variant (c.35‐1G>A) associated with familial FTLD in Spain. The cases were two monozygotic male twins who

Sampling Rate Effects on Resting State fMRI Metrics
Low image sampling rates used in resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) may cause aliasing of the cardiorespiratory pulsations over the very low frequency (VLF) BOLD signal fluctuations which reflects to functional connectivity (FC)

NeuroGraph: Benchmarks for Graph Machine Learning in Brain Connectomics [PDF]
Machine learning provides a valuable tool for analyzing high-dimensional functional neuroimaging data, and is proving effective in predicting various neurological conditions, psychiatric disorders, and cognitive patterns. In functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) research, interactions between brain regions are commonly modeled using graph-based ...

Diagnostic Challenge in Frontal Variant Alzheimer's Disease With Low Amyloid‐β PET Retention
ABSTRACT Diagnosing frontal variant Alzheimer's disease (fvAD) is difficult and could be even more difficult when amyloid‐beta (Aβ) PET retention is low. A 63‐year‐old woman presenting with a 3‐year history of apathy and memory impairment showed executive dysfunction, memory impairment, and severe bilateral frontotemporal atrophy on MRI.
