Functional Renormalization Group
2013The functional renormalization group is a particular implementation of the renormalization group concept which combines functional methods of quantum field theory with the renormalization group idea of Kenneth Wilson. It interpolates smoothly between the known microscopic laws and the complex macroscopic phenomena in physical systems.

Fermionic Functional Renormalization Group
2009In this chapter we shall derive the fundamental FRG flow equations for one-band models of nonrelativistic fermions. Although these flow equations follow as a special case of the general flow equations derived in Chap. 7, it is still useful to write down these equations explicitly in order to identify the various terms in the vertex expansion with ...

Renormalization-group functions and spectral functions
Physical Review D, 1982The interplay of the spectral representation and the renormalization group is investigated from a global nonperturbative point of view. A simple physical behavior is strongly indicated for quantum electrodynamics at high energies, with features resembling strong-interaction duality and critical phenomena.
