Vibration Analysis of Different Types of Porous FG Conical Sandwich Shells in Various Thermal Surroundings [PDF]
Vibration behavior of different types of porous functionally graded (FG) conical sandwich shells are investigated based on a modified high order sandwich shells theory for the first time. Sandwich shell includes FG face sheets covering a homogeneous core

Microbiome‐blood–brain barrier interactions in aging — mechanisms and therapeutic potential
Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Mechanical behavior of 2D FGP beam with uneven porosity distribution
This study gives the mechanical behavior of 2D functionally graded porous (FGP) beams using the finite element method. The Matlab code with simple Timoshenko beam elements is written to solve 2D FGP beam problems under distributed load.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Unraveling the epigenetic code in cancer cell–tumor microenvironment crosstalk
Epigenetic regulation is a key driver of cancer development and progression. Diverse epigenetic alterations in cancer cells and components of the tumor microenvironment (TME) orchestrate their communication through multiple mechanisms. We discuss how the epigenetic code coordinates bidirectional cancer cell–TME crosstalk to promote cancer progression ...
