The Fundamental Parameters of Cosmology
Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1999I describe the evidence for the big bang, including the various cosmological parameters. There is general concordance on their values, although the uncertainties remain large enough to justify the ensuing debate. Structure formation is reviewed, and here there is consensus on the hierarchical nature of the sequence of formation.

Fundamental Parameters Affecting Yarn-pullout Behavior
Journal of the Textile Institute, 2001Yarn-pullout behavior from a woven fabric is an important indicator of the mechanism of yarn interactions within the fabric. An analytical model is presented to describe the yarn-pullout behavior from woven fabric. This model is based on the free vibration caused by the orthogonal threads and can describe the motion of the yarn-pullout force.

The nature of topological parameters. I. Are topological parameters `fundamental properties'?

Though easily generated from an appropriate algorithm useful in developing predictive models they are not readily interpretable.
