A comparative study of circulating tumor cell isolation and enumeration technologies in lung cancer
Lung cancer cells were spiked into donor blood to evaluate the recovery rates of the following circulating tumor cell (CTC) enrichment technologies: CellMag™, EasySep™, RosetteSep™, Parsortix® PR1, and Parsortix® Prototype systems. Each method's advantages and disadvantages are described.

Forms of representation of interpolation trigonometric splines [PDF]
Three forms of representation of trigonometric interpolation splines are considered, in particular, the representation by the coefficients of the interpolation trigonometric polynomial, the representation by trigonometric B-splines, which are considered in more detail, and the representation by fundamental trigonometric splines.

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.

Unraveling the metastasis‐preventing effect of miR‐200c in vitro and in vivo
Advanced tumors and ineffective cancer treatments can lead to metastases in distant organs. The sole expression of microRNA 200c (miR‐200c) in breast cancer cells is shown to significantly reduce metastasis formation in xenograft mouse models. Various in vitro analyses revealed impeded migratory behavior, upon miR‐200c expression, as one prerequisite ...

Fundamental Properties of Perturbation-Theoretical Integral Representations. II
In the first part of this paper, it is investigated, apart from the perturbation-theoretical basis, under what conditions the perturbation-theoretical integral representations can be derived, and two theorems are given concerning this problem. In the second part, the asymptotic behavior of the weight function in the integral representation is ...

This study demonstrates that KRAS and GNAS mutations are more prevalent in patients with resected intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) compared to those under clinical surveillance. GNAS mutations significantly differ between the two patient cohorts, indicating that their absence may serve as a potential biomarker to support conservative ...

The LEXOVE prospective study evaluated plasma cell‐free extracellular vesicle (cfEV) dynamics using Bradford assay and dynamic light scattering in metastatic non‐small cell lung cancer patients undergoing first‐line treatments, correlating a ∆cfEV < 20% with improved median progression‐free survival in responders versus non‐responders.
