Gravitating Dyons and Dyonic Black Holes [PDF]
We study static spherically symmetric gravitating dyon solutions and dyonic black holes in Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs theory. The gravitating dyon solutions share many features with the gravitating monopole solutions.

Hydromechanics of low-Reynolds-number flow. Part 2. Singularity method for Stokes flows [PDF]
The present study furthcr explores the fundamental singular solutions for Stokes flow that can be useful for constructing solutions over a wide range of free-stream profiles and body shapes.

Singularity methods for magnetohydrodynamics
Singular solutions for linearized MHD equations based on Oseen approximations have been obtained such as Oseenslet. Oseenrotlet, mass source, etc. By suitably distributing these singular solutions along the axes of symmetry of an axially symmetric bodies,

The hybrid solution for the Fundamental Plane [PDF]
By exploiting the data base of early-type galaxy (ETG) members of the WINGS survey of nearby clusters, we address here the long debated question of the origin and shape of the Fundamental Plane (FP). Our data suggest that different physical mechanisms concur in shaping and 'tilting' the FP with respect to the virial plane (VP) expectation.

Fundamental strings and NS5-branes from unstable D-branes in supergravity [PDF]
By using the non-supersymmetric $p$-brane solutions delocalized in arbitrary number of transverse directions in type II supergravities, we show how they can be regarded as interpolating solutions between unstable D$p$-branes (a non-BPS D-brane or a pair ...

The Dynamical Instability of Static, Spherically Symmetric Solutions in Nonsymmetric Gravitational Theories [PDF]
We consider the dynamical stability of a class of static, spherically-symmetric solutions of the nonsymmetric gravitational theory. We numerically reproduce the Wyman solution and generate new solutions for the case where the theory has a nontrivial ...
