Funerary stela with lion-decorated pediment from Singidunum [PDF]

The funerary stela of Marcus Aurelius Bitus, a soldier of the Legio IV Flavia Felix, was discovered in Palmotićeva Street, Belgrade, during construction work undertaken in 1989-1990. The stela is typologically classified as being of the architectural type, and is topped by a pediment decorated with lions.
