Printing to Fight Antimicrobial Resistance Through Nano/Microstructured Platforms
Additive manufacturing enables the rational design of structured antimicrobial platforms across multiple length scales, from nanofibrous scaffolds and droplet microreactors to 3D and 4D printed constructs. By engineering confinement, interfacial chemistry, and stimuli‐responsive release, these systems exert localized action through complementary ...

Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review
Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.

Inflammatory Shift in Chronic Rhinosinusitis Amidst Guangzhou's Urbanization (2000–2018)
ABSTRACT Background Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) exhibits temporal and geographic diversity in pathological endotypes with progressive eosinophilic infiltration, while the underlying causes remain unclear. Current pathological endotypes determination relies on mean cell count per high‐power field, requiring accuracy optimization.

One Yeast, Sixteen Synthetic Chromosomes, Infinite Possibilities
ABSTRACT The evolution of the yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, from a genetically tractable model organism to a chassis for genome‐scale engineering represents one of the most influential trajectories in eukaryotic biology. The Synthetic Yeast Genome Project (Sc2.0) embodies the current height of this trajectory, having now delivered functional ...
