Complete Data and Analysis for: Fungicide Effectiveness on Soybean Rust in the Southeastern United States 2004-2014: A Meta-Analysis

open access: yes, 2015
Soybean rust is a concern to soybean growers and management of soybean rust primarily depends on disease scouting and the timely use of fungicides. The goal of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of fungicide-use through a quantitative meta-analysis

Bioprinted Tumor Microenvironment Models Reveal Immune Evasion and Guide CAR‐NK Therapeutic Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a 3D embedded bioprinting platform that recapitulates key stromal features of the tumor microenvironment using fibroblasts and lung‐derived ECM. The model enables functional assessment of CAR‐NK cells and provides a versatile tool to support the development of next‐generation immunotherapeutic strategies against solid tumors ...

Repeated soil applications of fungicide reduce activity against cavity spot in carrots

open access: yesCalifornia Agriculture, 2002
In recent years, carrot growers in the San Joaquin Valley have suffered economic losses due to cavity spot, a soilborne disease, despite frequent applications of the fungicide mefenoxam.

Results from two experiments with winter wheat, comparing top-dressings of a liquid N-fertilizer either alone or with added herbicide or mildew fungicide or both, and of 'Nitro-Chalk' without or with herbicide or fungicide or both

open access: yes, 1975
Experiments with winter wheat in 1972 and 1973 tested all combinations of ‘Nitro-Chalk’ ν. liquid N-fertilizer, 56 ν. 112 kg N/ha, 0 ν 5·6 1/ha of herbicide (2·8 kg acid equivalent/ha) and 0 ν 0·7 1/ha of mildew fungicide, all applied at growth stage 4–5

Depletion of p75NTR in Schwann Cells Driven by Inflammation Mediates Cutaneous Pain in Psoriasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Psoriasis‐like inflammation induces proliferation and molecular remodeling of cutaneous Schwann cells, marked by reduced p75NTR and increased NGF expression. IL‐17A promotes this process, whereas Schwann cell‐specific p75NTR overexpression alleviates cutaneous pain in vivo.

Acquired resistance to systemic fungicides of Septoria nodorum and Cercosporella herpotrichoides in cereals

open access: yes, 1979
Since the introduction of the systemic fungicides in the sixties, the phenomenon of resistance to these compounds has become a serious problem in the control of fungal plant diseases.
