Microstructure and Performance Optimization of Barley Husk Ash–Blended Mortars: A Sustainable Approach to Cement Substitution

Barley husk ash (BHA), an agricultural byproduct rich in pozzolanic oxides, was optimized as a sustainable cement substitute. This study proposes a hybrid non‐destructive testing (NDT) and machine learning framework to predict the compressive strength of steel slag concrete. The integration of UPV, Rebound Hammer, and mixture parameters with interpretable ANN modeling enables accurate, sustainable, and explainable strength assessment for in situ concrete evaluation.
