Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery in Cross-fused Ectopic Kidney

Cross-fused renal ectopia is a rare congenital anomaly in which both kidneys are fused and located on the same side. We report a case of right-to-left cross-fused renal ectopia and nephrolithiasis, in whom retrograde intrarenal surgery was used to treat the stone disease.

Radical cystectomy in presence of fused “cake” kidney

Radical cystectomy is the optimal treatment for patients with invasive bladder cancer. The presence of a fused pelvic kidney is an uncommon congenital abnormality and when found in a patient with bladder cancer may alter the operative procedure. Herein we report on a patient presenting with invasive bladder cancer and a pelvic "cake" kidney.

Fused pelvic kidneys: case report.
