Choice of coils for a fusion reactor [PDF]
In a fusion reactor a hot plasma of deuterium and tritium is confined by a strong magnetic field to produce helium ions and release energetic neutrons. The 3D geometry of a stellarator provides configurations for such a device that reduce net toroidal current that might lead to disruptions.

Quodons in tokamak fusion reactors
Experiments have shown that alpha particles incident on different materials bring about the generation of quodons, that is packets of localized energy that can bind to an electric charge and transport it without the presence of an electric field, a phenomenon called hyperconductivity.

Shutdown Dose Rate Analysis for the long-pulse D-D Operation Phase in KSTAR
KSTAR is a medium size fully superconducting tokamak. The deuterium-deuterium (D-D) reaction in the KSTAR tokamak generates neutrons with a peak yield of 3.5x1016 per second through a pulse operation of 100 seconds.
