Fuzzy analytic hierarchy process with interval type-2 fuzzy sets

Knowledge-Based Systems, 2014
The membership functions of type-1 fuzzy sets have no uncertainty associated with it. While excessive arithmetic operations are needed with type-2 fuzzy sets with respect to type-1's, type-2 fuzzy sets generalize type-1 fuzzy sets and systems so that more uncertainty for defining membership functions can be handled.

CONSISTENCY OF JUDGEMENT MATRIX AND FUZZY WEIGHTS IN FUZZY ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 1995
In this paper we introduce a definition of consistency of the judgement matrix in the fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and give a general expression of all fuzzy weights under the condition of consistency. Finally, based on our discussion, the geometric average method is suggested for fuzzy weights calculation in the practical decision-making ...

A fuzzy analytic hierarchy process methodology for the supplier selection problem

Journal of Enterprise Information Management, 2012
Purpose – Purchasing activities of a company form a very important part in the operation of the company. The quality of production and services mainly rely on the performance of the suppliers. In addition, a large amount of the product's total cost belongs to the purchasing cost of its materials. Therefore, selecting the most suitable suppliers is very

Analytical hierarchy process and fuzzy analytical hierarchy process application in choosing the place of incorporation

2014
