Summary: A possible interpretation, in terms of fuzzy classification models (fuzzy classifiers), of one of the general principles of choosing a scientific theory -- a consistency principle -- is considered. A concept of a stability measure of unsupervised fuzzy classifiers is introduced. A general scheme of computing the above measure is proposed.

Bridging SMT and TM with translation recommendation [PDF]
We propose a translation recommendation framework to integrate Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) output with Translation Memory (TM) systems. The framework recommends SMT outputs to a TM user when it predicts that SMT outputs are more suitable for ...

Probabilistic and fuzzy reasoning in simple learning classifier systems [PDF]
This paper is concerned with the general stimulus-response problem as addressed by a variety of simple learning c1assifier systems (CSs). We suggest a theoretical model from which the assessment of uncertainty emerges as primary concern.

Advances in classification of EEG signals via evolving fuzzy classifiers and dependant multiple HMMs. [PDF]
Two novel approaches to the problem of brain signals (electroencephalogram (EEG)) classification are introduced in the paper. The first method is based on a modular probabilistic network architecture that employs multiple dependant hidden Markov models ...
