Engineering NixCu(100‐x)@Ni Electrocatalysts on Microwave‐Reduced Ni/C for Efficient Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

A synergistic three‐layer Ni30Cu70/Ni/M catalyst, consisting of a microwave‐reduced Ni/C base, an electrodeposited Ni interlayer, and a Ni–Cu alloy top layer, was developed for alkaline HER. The Ni30Cu70/Ni/M catalyst exhibited efficient catalytic activity and stable performance over 60 h.
