Design of variable control charts based on type-2 fuzzy sets with a real case study
Control charts (CCs) are very effective tools to follow process variation and to improve process quality. It is completely critical to increase the sensitiveness and flexibility of CCs to gain a deeper perspective for process control.

Neuro- Fuzzy Statistical Process Control [PDF]
Controlling a system with minimum information and regardless of dynamic equations which dominate systems is the aim of intelligent control. One of the common approaches for process control is applying Shewhart's quality control charts.

Self‐Sensing Artificial‐Muscle‐Empowered Humanlike Perception, Interaction, and Positioning
The proposed self‐sensorized artificial muscle (SSAM) can sense its length change as small as 0.01 mm via a seamlessly integrated multi‐segment induction coil. The SSAM provides accurate length information regardless of its loadings, driving pressure, or muscle design, adequate for robust data‐driven feedback control.

‘Turkeys Cannot Vote for Christmas’: Why Epistemic Disobedience in an Anti‐Black World Matters
ABSTRACT Never in the history of global coloniality has the idea of epistemic disobedience been as important as in the 21st century. This is not only because the struggle for decolonisation has shifted from physical confrontation between the coloniser and the colonised into a battle of ideas but also because the former has deployed the idea of ...

Design of EWMA and CUSUM Control Charts Based On Type-2 Fuzzy Sets [PDF]
A Shewhart control chart is a completely critical tool used for monitoring process’ stability. The superiority of EWMA and CUSUM control charts over Shewhart control charts is their ability to handle small process shifts. Although fuzzy sets can manage

Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Is Characterized by a Distinct Proteomic Profile
Objectives The pathophysiology of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is poorly understood and disease‐specific biomarkers are lacking. We aimed to shed light on IIH pathophysiology and identify disease‐specific biomarkers. Methods This prospective cross‐sectional cohort study included patients with new‐onset IIH and age‐, body mass index‐, and ...

Evaluating the packing process in food industry using fuzzy and [stilde] control charts
The fuzzy set theory addresses the development of concepts and techniques for dealing with uncertainty or impression conditions. If the collected data from a process include vagueness due to human subjectively or measurement system, fuzzy control charts ...
