Finite-Time Stabilization-Based Adaptive Fuzzy Control Design

IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, 2021
This article is aimed at developing a finite-time adaptive fuzzy control strategy for a class of nonlinear strict-feedback systems. For the first time, a fast finite-time practical stability criteria is set up, which provides an effective approach to ...

Event-Triggered Adaptive Fuzzy Control for Stochastic Nonlinear Systems With Unmeasured States and Unknown Backlash-Like Hysteresis

IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, 2021
This article investigates the event-triggered control problem for stochastic nonlinear systems with unmeasured states and unknown backlash-like hysteresis. Based on the fuzzy logic systems, the unknown nonlinear functions can be identified.

Adaptive Robust Online Constructive Fuzzy Control of a Complex Surface Vehicle System

IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2016
In this paper, a novel adaptive robust online constructive fuzzy control (AR-OCFC) scheme, employing an online constructive fuzzy approximator (OCFA), to deal with tracking surface vehicles with uncertainties and unknown disturbances is proposed ...

Parameterized linear matrix inequality techniques in fuzzy control system design

IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, 2001
This paper proposes different parameterized linear matrix inequality (PLMI) characterizations for fuzzy control systems. These PLMI characterizations are, in turn, relaxed into pure LMI programs, which provides tractable and effective techniques for the ...

Controllability of Fuzzy Control Systems

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1986
Controllability properties of fuzzy dynamic systems are presented using graph representation. The indices of stability and controllability are introduced. A necessary condition for controllability is formulated. An algorithm for finding acceptable controls, based on a Liapunov-like approach, is presented. A numerical example is given.

Adaptive Fuzzy Control With High-Order Barrier Lyapunov Functions for High-Order Uncertain Nonlinear Systems With Full-State Constraints

IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2020
This paper focuses on the practical output tracking control for a category of high-order uncertain nonlinear systems with full-state constraints. A high-order tan-type barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) is constructed to handle the full-state constraints of

On the stability of fuzzy control systems

Proceedings of 32nd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002
The fuzzy-type control of linear uncertain systems is considered. It is shown that under mild assumptions concerning the fuzzy controller input-output map, the closed-loop system stability can be analyzed using the general Lyapunov based approach. Sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system are presented. >
