A fuzzy irrigation control system

2020 IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (GHTC), 2020
Given the need to reduce water consumption in irrigation to face the challenge of guaranteeing the supply of this resource to the population in the coming decades, this work presents a fuzzy inference system based irrigation control system to determine water irrigation volume for a sweet pepper (capsicum annuum) crop.

Controllability of Fuzzy Control Systems

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1986
Controllability properties of fuzzy dynamic systems are presented using graph representation. The indices of stability and controllability are introduced. A necessary condition for controllability is formulated. An algorithm for finding acceptable controls, based on a Liapunov-like approach, is presented. A numerical example is given.

Fuzzy systems in instrumentation: fuzzy control

Proceedings of 1995 IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference - IMTC '95, 2002
This paper presents a short overview of fuzzy control and discusses fuzzy partition in comparison with classical A/D and dither quantification.

Fuzzy control as a fuzzy deduction system

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2001
An approach to fuzzy control based on fuzzy logic in narrow sense (fuzzy inference rules + fuzzy set of logical axioms) is proposed. This gives an interesting theoretical framework and suggests new tools for fuzzy control.

Intelligent Control Systems and Fuzzy Controllers. II. Trained Fuzzy Controllers, Fuzzy PID Controllers

Automation and Remote Control, 2020
The problems of control systems intellectualization are observed. The necessity of intellectualization of a wide range of systems and control methods is proved. The hierarchy of levels of intellectual control observed and comparison analysis of different artificial intelligence devices given.

Fuzzy Modeling and Control of Chaotic Systems

1996 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems. Circuits and Systems Connecting the World. ISCAS 96, 2002
In this paper we explore the interaction between fuzzy control systems and chaos. First we show that fuzzy modeling techniques can be used to model chaotic dynamical systems. Then we apply some of the newly developed fuzzy control design techniques to the control of chaotic systems.

On the accessibility/controllability of fuzzy control systems

Information Sciences, 2012
Accessibility/controllability are very important concepts in the design of fuzzy logic control systems (FLCS) from both theoretical and practical perspectives. This paper proposes a systematic methodology that utilizes differential geometry/Lie Algebra, that has not been investigated in the literature, for analyzing the accessibility/controllability of

Fuzzy implication in fuzzy systems control

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1992
Abstract Different interpretations of fuzzy conditional statements in decision making for fuzzy systems control are considered. Some of their attributes which embarrass their application in this area are analysed. A list of demands for fuzzy implication and a compositional rule of inference is suggested.
