Supersymmetric Chern-Simons Theory and Supersymmetric Quantum Hall Liquid [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We develop a supersymmetric extension of Chern-Simons theory and Chern-Simons-Landau-Ginzburg theory for supersymmetric quantum Hall liquid. Supersymmetric counterparts of topological and gauge structures peculiar to the Chern-Simons theory are inspected

Observer-Based Adaptive Fuzzy Output Feedback Control of Fractional-Order Chaotic Systems With Input Quantization

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
This study investigates the adaptive fuzzy output feedback control of strict-feedback fractional-order chaotic systems with unmeasurable states and quantized input.

Matrix embeddings on flat $R^3$ and the geometry of membranes

open access: yes, 2012
We show that given three hermitian matrices, what one could call a fuzzy representation of a membrane, there is a well defined procedure to define a set of oriented Riemann surfaces embedded in $R^3$ using an index function defined for points in $R^3 ...

Fuzzy fractional estimates of Swift-Hohenberg model obtained using the Atangana-Baleanu fractional derivative operator

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2022
<p>Swift-Hohenberg equations are frequently used to model the biological, physical and chemical processes that lead to pattern generation, and they can realistically represent the findings. This study evaluates the Elzaki Adomian decomposition method (EADM), which integrates a semi-analytical approach using a novel hybridized ...

On Analytical Solutions of the Fractional Differential Equation with Uncertainty: Application to the Basset Problem

open access: yesEntropy, 2015
In this paper, we apply the concept of Caputo’s H-differentiability, constructed based on the generalized Hukuhara difference, to solve the fuzzy fractional differential equation (FFDE) with uncertainty. This is in contrast to conventional solutions that

New generalized fuzzy transform computations for solving fractional partial differential equations arising in oceanography

open access: yesJournal of Ocean Engineering and Science, 2023
This paper presents a study of nonlinear waves in shallow water. The Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation has a canonical version based on oceanography theory, the shallow water waves in the oceans, and the internal ion-acoustic waves in plasma.

Quantum Hall Droplets on Disc and Effective Wess-Zumino-Witten Action for Edge States

open access: yes, 2007
We algebraically analysis the quantum Hall effect of a system of particles living on the disc ${\bf B}^1$ in the presence of an uniform magnetic field $B$. For this, we identify the non-compact disc with the coset space $SU(1,1)/U(1)$.

Development of a Prediction Model for Progression Risk in High‐Grade Gliomas Based on Habitat Radiomics and Pathomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

Adaptive type-2 fuzzy second order sliding mode control for nonlinear uncertain chaotic system

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper, a robust adaptive type-2 fuzzy higher order sliding mode controller is designed to stabilize the unstable periodic orbits of uncertain perturbed chaotic system with internal parameter uncertainties and external disturbances.

Robust Spot Melting by 3D Spot Arrangements in Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work proposes an approach to replace separately melted contours for spot melting in electron beam powder fusion. Adapting the spot arrangements close to the contour combined with stacking yields a comparable surface quality without the inherent challenges of separate contours, as demonstrated, by electron optical images and roughness measurements.
