ON FUZZY IMPLICATIVE FILTERS OF LATTICE IMPLICATION ALGEBRAS

open access: yesCommunications of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2003
Summary: We investigate some related properties of fuzzy filters and fuzzy implicative filters in lattice implication algebras. We find a characterization of fuzzy filters and fuzzy implicative filters, and we discuss a relation between fuzzy filters and fuzzy implicative filters in lattice implication algebras.

Chameleon sequences reveal structural effects in proteins representing micelle‐like distribution of hydrophobicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

New Fuzzy Implication Model Consisting Only of Basic Logical Fuzzy Connectives

open access: yesAxioms
Fuzzy implication models play a crucial role in the field of fuzzy logic. The reason behind this reality is the fact that fuzzy implications are influenced by the properties of the model used for their creation.

Development of a Prediction Model for Progression Risk in High‐Grade Gliomas Based on Habitat Radiomics and Pathomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

SISO Intuitionistic Fuzzy Systems: IF- ${t}$ -Norm, IF- ${R}$ -Implication, and Universal Approximators

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Fuzzy system, as the main method of approximate reasoning, has been widely used to solve practical problems. The existing results on fuzzy systems were based on fuzzy sets, fuzzy if-then rule, and fuzzy inference.

Common coincidence points for Nadler’s type hybrid fuzzy contractions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2023
In the framework of complete metric spaces, the major objective of this paper is to investigate if a common coincidence point exists for more than two fuzzy mappings meeting the criteria of hybrid fuzzy contractions of Nadler’s type in connection with ...

Activating Generalized Fuzzy Implications from Galois Connections [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper deals with the relation between fuzzy implications and Galois connections, trying to raise the awareness that the fuzzy implications are indispensable to generalise Formal Concept Analysis.

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

An Overview of Fuzzy Implication and Its Generalizations

open access: yesMathematics
Fuzzy implication operators are vital in the modeling of uncertain reasoning, particularly in approximate reasoning and fuzzy inference systems. The objective of this survey is to provide a structured and comprehensive overview of fuzzy implication ...
