FUZZY MEASURES AND FUZZY INTEGRALS: AN OVERVIEW
International Journal of General Systems, 1990This paper provides an overview of fuzzy measures, fuzzy integration theories and Choquet's capacity theory. Belief, plausibility, and possibility measures are characterized as Choquet capacities and as fuzzy measures. The relationship between possibility measures, fuzzy sets, and approximate reasoning is established.

FUZZY PATTERN RECOGNITION BY FUZZY INTEGRALS AND FUZZY RULES
2001We give an overview of the application of fuzzy rules and fuzzy integrals in classification, presenting the general methodology and illustrating it by giving real applications. Fuzzy rules have been most of the time devoted to fuzzy control, using the so-called “Mamdani rules”. Here we present a broader view of the topic in the framework of possibility

On the use of fuzzy integral as a fuzzy connective
[Proceedings 1993] Second IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems, 2002The author shows some results which clarify the use of the fuzzy integral as a fuzzy connective. Fuzzy integrals of discrete functions can be considered as a class of fuzzy connectives, of which several properties are already known (continuity, monotonicity, idempotency, etc.), making them very near the concept of the averaging operator. Relations with

Atoms of fuzzy measures and fuzzy integrals
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1991A concept of \(m\)-continuity is introduced. It is one of the generalizations of the concept of absolute continuity in classical measure theory. Also, the concepts of atom (with respect to a fuzzy measure) and null additivity are used, and whereby, the structure of fuzzy measure space is discussed. Furthermore, a Riemann type fuzzy integral is defined.

The notion of (N)fuzzy integrals was introduced by \textit{Ruhnai Zhao} [see J. Math. Res. Expo. 1981, No.2, 55-72 (1981; Zbl 0492.28001)]. In this paper the (N)fuzzy integral is studied by using the structural characteristics proposed by Zhenyuan Wang, necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of a sequence of (N)fuzzy integrals when the

Fuzzy integrals and conditional fuzzy measures
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1983We introduce a fuzzy integral for fuzzy events with respect to @l-additive fuzzy measures. This integral is the canonical generalization of the Lehesgue integral. A Radon-Nikodym-like theorem is used to give the definition of the conditional fuzziness.
