Integrated fuzzy clustering

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1994
Abstract Cluster analysis is a valuable tool for exploratory pattern analysis, especially when the information available is not complete, and/or the data model is affected by uncertainty, and imprecision. Here a new integrated clustering method, based on a fuzzy approach is proposed.

Fuzzy integrals—what are they?

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2008
Summary: We bring an overview of fuzzy integrals, including historical remarks. These integrals can be viewed as an average membership value of fuzzy sets, and they are related to fuzzy measures. The Choquet integral can be traced back to 1925. The Sugeno integral has a predecessor in the Shilkret integral from 1971.

FUZZY PATTERN RECOGNITION BY FUZZY INTEGRALS AND FUZZY RULES

2001
We give an overview of the application of fuzzy rules and fuzzy integrals in classification, presenting the general methodology and illustrating it by giving real applications. Fuzzy rules have been most of the time devoted to fuzzy control, using the so-called “Mamdani rules”. Here we present a broader view of the topic in the framework of possibility

Multidimensional Fuzzy Integrals

2007
This paper studies multidimensional fuzzy integrals. We consider a multidimensional generalized fuzzy integral that generalizes the multidimensional Choquet and Sugeno integrals. Then, an extension of part of Fubini's theorem is given. Finally, citation analysis is considered as an example of the application of the results presented here.

A genetic integrated fuzzy classifier

Pattern Recognition Letters, 2005
This paper introduces a new classifier, that is based on fuzzy-integration schemes controlled by a genetic optimisation procedure. Two different types of integration are proposed here, and are validated by experiments on real data sets of biological cells.

Fuzzy Integral Games

1978
A decision-making technique for the resources—limited object, interacting with a number of independent objects, is presented. Situation information given in a natural language, as well as criteria and restrictions, contain fuzzy elements. The state evaluation is made using fuzzy scales and plans.

Fuzzy Integral Based Fuzzy Switching Functions

2004
This paper shows many relations among fuzzy switching functions and fuzzy integrals. First, we show that monotone fuzzy switching functions with constants are extended Sugeno integrals and fuzzy switching functions are Sugeno integrals whose inputs are double inputs, that is, true and false inputs. Next, we propose a Choquet integral based fuzzy binary

The Fuzzy Riemann-Stieltjes Integral

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 1998
In the classcial sense, the expectation is sometimes defined as Riemann-Stieltjes integral. In this paper, we propose the concept of fuzzy Riemann-Stieltjes integral to make the expectation of fuzzy random variable applicable to statistical analysis for imprecise data.

Fuzzy complex analysis II: Integration

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1992
[For part I see the author and \textit{Y. Qu} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 41, No. 3, 269-284 (1991; Zbl 0739.30038)].] This paper is the continuation of the part I of the author's fuzzy complex analysis and studies the basic properties of a kind of fuzzy contour integrals which are with respect to the fuzzy mappings that map rectifiable curves in the complex ...
