Phoneme analysis for multiple languages with fuzzy‐based speaker identification
Most voice biometric systems are dependent on the language of the user. However, if the idea is to create an all‐inclusive and reliable system that uses speech as its input, then they should be able to recognise people regardless of language or accent ...

Fuzzy Query Languages for Multimedia Data [PDF]
This chapter presents a fuzzy-based algebra, called SAMEW, to query multimedia objects. SAMEW allows for dealing within a common framework with several aspects relevant to similarity query processing as well as with the inherent imprecision that characterizes data, user requests and query results.

An entity‐centric foundation model, GloPath, is introduced for comprehensive glomerular lesion assessment from routine renal biopsy images. Trained on over one million glomeruli, the framework enables robust lesion recognition, grading, and cross modality diag nosis, while uncovering large‐scale clinicopathological associations.

Here we study variety of monoid and semiring recognizable l-fuzzy languages. A l-fuzzy language over an alphabet A is called commutative l-fuzzy language if it satisfies the condition (puvq) = (pvuq) , for all u,v,p,q ∈ A∗. We prove that the set of all commutative l-fuzzy languages is ∗-variety and conjunctive variety of l-fuzzy languages.

Multimodal Wearable Biosensing Meets Multidomain AI: A Pathway to Decentralized Healthcare
Multimodal biosensing meets multidomain AI. Wearable biosensors capture complementary biochemical and physiological signals, while cross‐device, population‐aware learning aligns noisy, heterogeneous streams. This Review distills key sensing modalities, fusion and calibration strategies, and privacy‐preserving deployment pathways that transform ...

Fuzzy information recognition and translation processing in English interpretation based on a generalized maximum likelihood ratio algorithm [PDF]
English interpretation plays a vital role as a critical link in cross-language communication. However, there are various types of ambiguous information in many interpreting scenarios, such as ambiguity, ambiguous vocabulary, and syntactic structures ...

Mining topological relations from the web [PDF]
Topological relations between geographic regions are of interest in many applications. When the exact boundaries of regions are not available, such relations can be established by analysing natural language information from web documents.

Logics of formal inconsistency arising from systems of fuzzy logic
This paper proposes the meeting of fuzzy logic with paraconsistency in a very precise and foundational way. Specifically, in this paper we introduce expansions of the fuzzy logic MTL by means of primitive operators for consistency and inconsistency in ...
