Fuzzy Toric Geometries

open access: yes, 2008
We describe a construction of fuzzy spaces which approximate projective toric varieties. The construction uses the canonical embedding of such varieties into a complex projective space: The algebra of fuzzy functions on a toric variety is obtained by a ...

Regulation Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This paper reviews the design of regulation loops for power converters. Power converter control being a vast domain, it does not aim to be exhaustive.

Robust Control Using a Matrix Converter to Enhance Wind Turbine Systems

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study uses a more efficient and effective solution to improve the operational performance of a wind turbine‐based power system. This system uses a doubly fed induction generator and relies on a matrix converter and fractional‐order proportional–integral controller.

Granular Fuzzy Fractional Continuous-Time Linear Systems: Roesser and Fornasini–Marchesini Models

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In this article, we introduce and investigate two classes of fuzzy fractional two-dimensional continuous-time (FFTDCT) linear systems to deal with uncertainty and fuzziness in system parameters.

On Solutions of Linear Fractional Differential Equations with Uncertainty

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The solutions of linear fuzzy fractional differential equations (FFDEs) under the Caputo differentiability have been investigated. To this end, the fuzzy Laplace transform was used to obtain the solutions of FFDEs.

Enhancing generalized spectral clustering with embedding Laplacian graph regularization

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView.
Abstract An enhanced generalised spectral clustering framework that addresses the limitations of existing methods by incorporating the Laplacian graph and group effect into a regularisation term is presented. By doing so, the framework significantly enhances discrimination power and proves highly effective in handling noisy data.

Nonlinear Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number and Its Application in Linear Integral Equation

open access: yesAdvances in Fuzzy Systems, 2019
In this paper we introduce the different arithmetic operations on nonlinear intuitionistic fuzzy number (NIFN). All the arithmetic operations are done by max-min principle method which is nothing but the application of interval analysis.

Controllable Intrinsic Surface Pattern Generation Using Slime Mold Simulations

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Surface‐based pattern simulations have proven valuable for texture design and scientific visualization, but existing methods face several limitations. Most simulations either target a narrow range of pattern types (e.g. spots, branching) or support a broad range of patterns at the cost of time‐consuming parameter tuning.

On a Fuzzy Problem with Variable Coefficient by Fuzzy Laplace Transform

open access: yesIğdır Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Dergisi, 2020
This study is on solutions of a fuzzy problem with variable coefficient. Solutions are found by fuzzy Laplace transform. Generalized differentiability is used. It is searched whether the solutions are valid 𝛼-level sets or not. Examples are solved on studied problem. Conclusions are given.

Computing the fuzzy Laplace transform via Homotopy Perturbation Method

open access: yesJournal of Interpolation and Approximation in Scientific Computing, 2014
In this paper, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is applied to compute the fuzzy Laplace transform of fuzzy functions. The basic properties of the fuzzy Laplace transform are again obtained by HPM and examples assuring the applicability of HPM are presented.
