Fuzzy matrices with fuzzy rows and columns

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2015
Fuzzy matrices (FMs) play important role to model several uncertain systems. In FMs, it is assumed that the rows and columns are certain. But, in many real life situations it is seen that they are also uncertain. So to model these types of uncertain problems, new type of FMs are introduced called fuzzy matrices with fuzzy rows and columns (FMFRCs). For

Convergence of powers of reciprocal fuzzy matrices

Information Sciences, 1993
The authors prove a convergence theorem for fuzzy matrices which are reciprocal, meaning that \(r_{ij} = 1 - r_{ji}\) and the set of ordered pairs representing entries greater than 0.5 forms a transitive binary relation. They apply this to stability of fuzzy systems.

On transitivity of generalized fuzzy matrices

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2013
Abstract In this paper, generalized fuzzy matrices are considered as matrices over a special type of semiring which is called path algebra. Some elementary properties and characterizations for transitive generalized fuzzy matrices are established and transitivity of powers of a generalized fuzzy matrix is discussed.

On generalized fuzzy matrices with periods

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2011
The paper deals with matrices over an additively idempotent semiring \(L\) (path algebra). A path algebra is a generalization of many algebraic structures as e.g. Boolean algebra, fuzzy algebra, De Morgan algebra, max-plus algebra, min-plus algebra or incline algebra.

Fuzzy Soft Matrices and their Applications

2011
In this paper, we define fuzzy soft matrices and study their basic properties. We then define products of fuzzy soft matrices that satisfy commutative law and present a decision making method. This method can solve decision making problems which consider many observers' views.

Generalized regular fuzzy matrices

2011
Summary: In this paper, the concept of \(k\)-regular fuzzy matrix as a generalization of regular matrix is introduced and some basic properties of a \(k\)-regular fuzzy matrix are derived. This leads to the characterization of a matrix for which the regularity index and the index are identical.

Multi-Fuzzy Complex Nilpotent Matrices

International Journal of Fuzzy System Applications, 2016
In this paper, the concept of multi-fuzzy matrix (MFM), multi-fuzzy complex matrix (MFCM), generalized multi-fuzzy complex matrix (GMFCM), generalized multi-fuzzy complex nilpotent matrix (GMFCNM) are introduced and have shown that the set of GMFCMs form a distributive lattice.

On nilpotency of generalized fuzzy matrices

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2010
The paper deals with matrices over an additively idempotent semiring (path algebra). A path algebra is an important tool e.g. in automata theory, combinatorial optimization and switching circuits. It is a generalization of many algebraic structures as e.g.

Two new operators on fuzzy matrices

Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing, 2004
Matrices over lattices were firstly considered by \textit{M. Yoeli} [Am Math. Monthly 68, 552--557 (1961; Zbl 0115.02103)] and \textit{T. S. Blyth} [J. Lond. Math. Soc. 39, 427--432 (1964; Zbl 0154.01104)]. \textit{M. G. Thomason} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 57, 476--480 (1977; Zbl 0345.15007)] considered the particular case: matrices over the lattice \(([0 ...
