Fuzzy measures defined by addition of fuzzy measures
2016 12th International Conference on Natural Computation, Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (ICNC-FSKD), 2016Given a measurable space (X, A) and two fuzzy measures μ 1 and μ2 defined on A, the addition of μ 1 and μ2 determines another set function on A. Such a new set function is a fuzzy measure, too. We shall discuss the relation between the new fuzzy measure and the original fuzzy measures. We shall see that the new fuzzy measure preserves some structural

BALANCED DISCRETE FUZZY MEASURES
International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2000First a balancing property on a fuzzy measure is introduced. After that, the conditions of when an additive fuzzy measure is balanced are given and similar results are presented for 0-1 and S–decomposable fuzzy measures where S is a continuous t–conorm. Moreover, the concept of distance between two additive fuzzy measures is presented and some results

Fuzzy similarity measures and measurement theory
2019 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2019We consider objects associated with a fuzzy set-based representation. By using a classic method of measurement introduced by Tversky, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a particular class of fuzzy similarity measures, agreeing with an ordering relation among pairs of objects which express the idea that two objects are

Measures of fuzzy sets and measures of fuzziness
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1984Denote \((\Omega,{\mathcal B})\) a measurable space. Let M be a positive real number or infinity. Consider the segment \([0,M]\) and a binary operation \(\perp\) defined on [0,M]. The operation \(\perp\) is supposed to be non- decreasing in each argument, commutative, associative and has 0 as unit.

Measures of fuzziness of fuzzy events
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1987We prove some new results on two families of fuzzy integrals defined in a previous paper, and by means of them we obtain entropy measures of fuzzy sets (not necessarily finite) which contain as particular cases the measures of Batle and Trillas, and Weber.

Sugeno's fuzzy measure and fuzzy clustering
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1985Proposed is an iterative clustering method making use of Sugeno's fuzzy measure. The minimized performance index is of the form \(\sum^{c}_{i=1}\sum^{n}_{j=1}g_{ij}d_{ij}\), where c and n stand for the number of clusters (classes) and objects clustered, respectively.
