Characterizing completable fuzzy metric spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2004
The work deals with the separation of points in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces (IFTS). The Hausdorfness of an IFTS is described in terms of convergence of nets. It is shown that an IFTS is \(T_2\) if and only if each convergent intuitionistic fuzzy net has a unique limit.

On a class of completable fuzzy metric spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2010
The authors investigate fuzzy metric spaces [\textit{A. George} and \textit{P. Veeramani}, ibid. 64, No.~3, 395--399 (1994; Zbl 0843.54014)]. Inter alia they characterize a strong fuzzy metric by a family of stationary fuzzy metrics and show that stationary fuzzy metrics with integral \(t\)-norm and stationary fuzzy ultrametrics (but not fuzzy ...

Regularity of fuzzy measures on complete and separable metric spaces

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2016
The regularity of continuous fuzzy measures on complete separable metric spaces are discussed. It is shown that a finite continuous fuzzy measure is tight on complete and separable metric spaces, and if the fuzzy measure is weakly null-additive, then it is regular.

Some complete metrics on spaces of fuzzy subsets

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2002
Completions of the \(L_p\)-metrics as well as of the \(L_{p,\infty}\)-metrics, restricted to the space of normal, bounded, convex, compact fuzzy subsets of \(\mathbb R^k\) are studied.

Fixed point theorems for fuzzy mappings in complete metric spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2002
The authors prove that many fixed point theorems existing in the literature for set-valued mappings and fuzzy mappings are derived from their results, in which such mappings have suitable metric properties.

Regularity of fuzzy measures on complete and separable metric spaces

2015 12th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD), 2015
We shall study the regularity of continuous monotone non-additive measures defined on complete separable metric spaces. We prove that a finite continuous non-additive measures is tight, and furthermore, if it is weakly null-additive, then it possesses regularity.

Fuzzy contractions of Suzuki type and a characterization of fuzzy metric completeness

2022
[EN] In this note we introduce a class of fuzzy contractions of Suzuki type from which a fixed point theorem is proved. As a product of our approach, a characterization of a large class of complete fuzzy metric spaces is obtained.
