Fuzzy partial (pseudo-)metric spaces

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2014
This paper attempts to generalize partial (pseudo-)metric and fuzzy (pseudo-)metric to a more general framework (in this paper, we call it fuzzy (pseudo-)partial metric). Firstly, the concept of fuzzy partial (pseudo-)metric is given. Then the relationships between partial (pseudo-)metric, fuzzy (pseudo-)metric and fuzzy partial (pseudo-)metric are ...

Fuzzy Normed Spaces and Fuzzy Metric Spaces

2018
In this chapter, we define fuzzy normed spaces and show that every fuzzy normed space induces a fuzzy metric space. Then we consider the topology induced by fuzzy normed (metric) spaces and show some important topological properties of them. Next, we study fuzzy inner product spaces and some properties of these spaces.

On a class of completable fuzzy metric spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2010
The authors investigate fuzzy metric spaces [\textit{A. George} and \textit{P. Veeramani}, ibid. 64, No.~3, 395--399 (1994; Zbl 0843.54014)]. Inter alia they characterize a strong fuzzy metric by a family of stationary fuzzy metrics and show that stationary fuzzy metrics with integral \(t\)-norm and stationary fuzzy ultrametrics (but not fuzzy ...

ANALYSIS ON FRACTALS IN FUZZY METRIC SPACES

Fractals, 2011
In this paper, we investigate the fractals generated by the iterated function system of fuzzy contractions in the fuzzy metric spaces by generalizing the Hutchinson-Barnsley theory. We prove some existence and uniqueness theorems of fractals in the standard fuzzy metric spaces by using the fuzzy Banach contraction theorem.

Characterizing completable fuzzy metric spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2004
The work deals with the separation of points in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces (IFTS). The Hausdorfness of an IFTS is described in terms of convergence of nets. It is shown that an IFTS is \(T_2\) if and only if each convergent intuitionistic fuzzy net has a unique limit.

Random metric space of fuzzy numbers

International Journal of General Systems, 2014
In this paper, we introduce the concept of a random metric (RM) space of fuzzy numbers and establish some of its basic properties. In this approach, the distance between two fuzzy numbers is considered as a certain measurable function. Using this concept, we also obtain some convergence relations for a sequence of fuzzy numbers. Finally, we investigate
