H-Max Distance Measure of Bipolar Neutrosophic Sets and an Application to Medical Diagnosis [PDF]
A single-valued neutrosophic set is one of the advanced fuzzy sets that is capable of handling complex real-world information satisfactorily. A development of single-valued neutrosophic set and fuzzy bipolar set, called a bipolar neutrosophic set, was ...

Generator of Fuzzy Implications
In this research paper, a generator of fuzzy methods based on theorems and axioms of fuzzy logic is derived, analyzed and applied. The family presented generates fuzzy implications according to the value of a selected parameter.

A Study of Generalized QL′-Implications
In this paper, we introduce and study the GQL′-operations. We prove that this class is a hyper class of the known class of QL′-operations. Similar to QL′-operations, GQL′-operations are not always fuzzy implications.

On Fuzzy Negations and Laws of Contraposition. Lattice of Fuzzy Negations
Summary This the next article in the series formalizing the book of Baczyński and Jayaram “Fuzzy Implications”. We define the laws of contraposition connected with various fuzzy negations, and in order to make the cluster registration mechanism fully working, we construct some more non-classical examples of fuzzy implications.

The Law of Excluded Middle and the Negation of it in many-valued and Fuzzy Logics [PDF]
The philosophical critiques, in twentieth century, on binary paradigm caused the negation of the law of excluded middle as the same as it caused the establishment of many-valued logics and fuzzy logic, while the laws of excluded middle, identity and ...

A Study of GD′- Implications, a New Hyper Class of Fuzzy Implications
In this paper, we introduce and study the GD′-operations, which are a hyper class of the known D′-operations. GD′-operations are in fact D′-operations, that are generated not only from the same fuzzy negation.

Interval-valued contractive fuzzy negations [PDF]
In this work we consider the concept of contractive interval-valued fuzzy negation, as a negation such that it does not increase the length or amplitude of an interval. We relate this to the concept of Lipschitz function. In particular, we prove that the only strict (strong) contractive interval-valued fuzzy negation is the one generated from the ...

Intuitionistic fuzzy interpretation of a classical propositional logic formula [PDF]
The formula ¬A = (A → ((A → A) ∧ ¬(A → A))) is a tautology in the classical propositional logic. In this paper, we determine all intuitionistic fuzzy implications that satisfy this formula together with the classical intuitionistic fuzzy negation or with

Contracting and Involutive Negations of Probability Distributions
A dozen papers have considered the concept of negation of probability distributions (pd) introduced by Yager. Usually, such negations are generated point-by-point by functions defined on a set of probability values and called here negators.

Linguistic Hypersoft Set with Application to Multi-Criteria Decision-Making to Enhance Rural Health Services [PDF]
Language, as an abstract system and a creative act, possesses inherent complexity due to its contextual nature and the variability of its meaning. The context of language is shaped by an individual's empirical knowledge, derived from observation and ...
