Fuzzy Negation and Other Weak Fuzzy Connectives

2012
This paper deals with some dependencies between fuzzy negations and other fuzzy connectives. The generalized laws of contradiction and excluded middle are considered. Methods for generating fuzzy negation from fuzzy conjunction, disjunction or fuzzy implication together with another fuzzy negation are also presented.

Interval Valued Versions of T-Conorms, Fuzzy Negations and Fuzzy Implications

2006 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems, 2006
There exists infinitely many way to extend the classical prepositional connectives to the set [0,1] such that the behavior in their extremes are as in the classical logic. Still, is a consensus that it is not sufficient, demanding that these extensions also preserves some logical properties of the classical connectives.

Negation of Fuzzy-Linguistic Concepts in Hierarchical Domains

2016 Third European Network Intelligence Conference (ENIC), 2016
The great part of fuzzy-linguistic research assumes the fuzzy complement as a good candidate for representing the meaning of negation. However, linguistic studies show that both acquisition and use of negation are way more complex than that. After reconsidering a way in which the negation is used in the natural language discourse, this paper focuses on

On Fuzzy Propositional Logic with Different Negations

2013
Pan pointed out that there are three kinds of different negations: contradictory negation, opposite negation and medium negation. He also proposed the novel fuzzy set FScom with the above three kinds of negations, followed by one improved fuzzy set IFScom that is established based on FScom.

Fuzzy Bi-implications Generated by t-norms and Fuzzy Negations

2019
In the literature, there are several forms of extensions of the classical bi-implication for the fuzzy logic, as for example, the axiomatization proposed by Fodor and Roubens [1]. Another way to obtain a generalization is to provide a definition based on the classical equivalence \(\phi \iff \psi \equiv (\phi \Rightarrow \psi )\wedge (\psi \Rightarrow \

Relative negations in non-commutative fuzzy structures

Soft Computing, 2013
The author defines relative involutive FL-algebras by generalizing some her previous results [\textit{L. C. Ciungu}, An. Univ. Craiova, Ser. Mat. Inf. 37, No. 1, 19--26 (2010; Zbl 1212.06046)] to relative negations, the relative generalized states are also investigated.

On Intuitionistic fuzzy negations and law for Excluded Middle

2010 5th IEEE International Conference Intelligent Systems, 2010
The basic intutionistic fuzzy negations are given and the relations between the negations and the Law for Excluded Middle are described.

Moore Continuous n-Dimensional Interval Fuzzy Negations

2018 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2018
n-dimensional fuzzy sets are an generalizing some extensions of fuzzy sets, such as, interval-valued fuzzy sets, interval-valued Atanassov intuitionistic fuzzy sets and fuzzy mul-tisets, where the membership values are n-truples of real numbers in the unit interval [0, 1] ordered in increasing order, called n-dimensional intervals.

Negation Functions in the Set of Discrete Fuzzy Numbers

2010
The aim of this paper is to build a strong negation \(\mathcal{N}\) on the bounded distributive lattice, \(\mathcal{A}_1^{L}\), of discrete fuzzy numbers whose support is a subset of consecutive natural numbers of the finite chain L = {0,1, ⋯ ,m}, from the only negation on L. Moreover, we obtain the \(\mathcal{N}\)-dual t-norm(t-conorm) of a \(\mathcal{
