Innovative Methods of Constructing Strict and Strong Fuzzy Negations, Fuzzy Implications and New Classes of Copulas

open access: yesMathematics
This paper presents new classes of strong fuzzy negations, fuzzy implications and Copulas. It begins by presenting two theorems with function classes involving the construction of strong fuzzy negations.

Constructing implication functions from fuzzy negations

open access: yesProceedings of the 8th conference of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology, 2013
A class of implication functions is constructed from fuzzy negations. The interest of this new class lies in its simplicity and in the fact that when N is Idsymmetrical, the corresponding implication agrees with the residuum of a commutative semicopula.

An Overview of Fuzzy Implication and Its Generalizations

open access: yesMathematics
Fuzzy implication operators are vital in the modeling of uncertain reasoning, particularly in approximate reasoning and fuzzy inference systems. The objective of this survey is to provide a structured and comprehensive overview of fuzzy implication ...

On Equivalence Operators Derived from Overlap and Grouping Functions

open access: yesAxioms
This paper introduces the concept of equivalence operators based on overlap and grouping functions where the associativity property is not strongly required.

An Algorithm for Producing Fuzzy Implications via Conical Sections

open access: yesAlgorithms
In the present study, a novel parametric family of fuzzy implications is introduced and its properties are examined. The parametric family of implications is produced only via a fuzzy negation.

Ordinal Sums of Fuzzy Negations: Main Classes and Natural Negations

open access: yes, 2019
In the context of fuzzy logic, ordinal sums provide a method for constructing new functions from existing functions, which can be triangular norms, triangular conorms, fuzzy negations, copulas, overlaps, uninorms, fuzzy implications, among others. As our main contribution, we establish conditions for the ordinal sum of a family of fuzzy negations to be

Fuzzy implication functions constructed from general overlap functions and fuzzy negations

open access: yes, 2021
Fuzzy implication functions have been widely investigated, both in theoretical and practical fields. The aim of this work is to continue previous works related to fuzzy implications constructed by means of non necessarily associative aggregation functions.

Residuated fuzzy logics with an involutive negation

open access: yesArchive for Mathematical Logic, 2000
Residuated fuzzy logic calculi are related to continuous t-norms, which are used as truth functions for conjunction, and their residua as truth functions for implication. In these logics, a negation is also definable from the implication and the truth constant 0̄, namely ¬φ is φ → 0̄.
