General negations in fuzzy set theory

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1983
AbstractAll possible negation operations which are optimal in some precise sense are fully described. They turn out to be Lowen's fuzzy complements, Yager's intuitionistic negation, and a dual to the latter.

Extending Fuzzy Linguistic Logic Programming with Negation †

open access: yesMathematics; Volume 10; Issue 17; Pages: 3105, 2022
Fuzzy linguistic logic programming (FLLP) is a framework for representation and reasoning with linguistically expressed human knowledge. In this paper, we extend FLLP by allowing negative literals to appear in rule bodies, resulting in normal logic programs.
