Mathematical Modelling and Analysis of the Simplest Fuzzy Two-Input Two-Output Two-Term Controller of Takagi−Sugeno Type

open access: yesFuzzy Information and Engineering, 2023
Mathematical modelling of the simplest Takagi−Sugeno fuzzy Two-Input Two-Output (TITO) Proportional-Integral/Proportional-Derivative (PI/PD) controller is presented in this paper.

Some properties of equivalent fuzzy norms [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Fuzzy Logic and Intelligent Systems, 2005
In the present paper, we observe a relation between fuzzy norms and induced crisp norms on a linear space. We first prove that if ρ₁, ρ₂ are equivalent fuzzy norms on a linear space, then for every e∈ ( 0, 1 ) , the induced crisp norms P¹ e and P² e respectively are equivalent.

Neurologic Manifestations of Long COVID Affect Adult Females More Severely Than Males

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize differences in neurologic manifestations of postacute sequelae of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection (Neuro‐PASC) between females and males. Methods Cross‐sectional study of the first consecutive 261 posthospitalization Neuro‐PASC (PNP) and 2068 nonhospitalized Neuro‐PASC (NNP) patients evaluated at the Neuro‐COVID clinic between ...

Cracking the Code: Which Ocular Symptoms Predict Dry Eye Signs? Insights From a Large International Sicca Registry

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective The study aimed to identify symptom‐based predictors of dry eye disease (DED) signs in the Sjögren's International Collaborative Clinical Alliance (SICCA) cohort. Methods We performed a retrospective analysis examining 16 ocular symptoms (most graded 0–4) and artificial tear (AT) use (graded 0–3) as predictors of DED signs (abnormal ocular ...

Generalized and Customizable Sets in R [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We present data structures and algorithms for sets and some generalizations thereof (fuzzy sets, multisets, and fuzzy multisets) available for R through the sets package. Fuzzy (multi-)sets are based on dynamically bound fuzzy logic families.

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

The Construction of Type-2 Fuzzy Reasoning Relations for Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
Type-2 fuzzy reasoning relations are the type-2 fuzzy relations obtained from a group of type-2 fuzzy reasonings by using extended t-(co)norm, which are essential for implementing type-2 fuzzy logic systems.

A Study on Fuzzy Order Bounded Linear Operators in Fuzzy Riesz Spaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
This paper aims to study fuzzy order bounded linear operators between two fuzzy Riesz spaces. Two lattice operations are defined to make the set of all bounded linear operators as a fuzzy Riesz space when the codomain is fuzzy Dedekind complete.

Fuzzy Representation of Norms

open access: yes
Autonomous systems (AS) powered by AI components are increasingly integrated into the fabric of our daily lives and society, raising concerns about their ethical and social impact. To be considered trustworthy, AS must adhere to ethical principles and values.
