Fuzzy Option Pricing Based on Fuzzy Number Binary Tree Model

IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, 2022
In this article, a new method of option pricing in the form of fuzzy number is established based on fuzzy number binary tree model. Firstly,by using the operation rules of fuzzy number addition and number multiplication in cut set form, the fuzzy number ...

Calculus for linearly correlated fuzzy number-valued functions

Fuzzy Sets Syst., 2021
This paper establishes the calculus for linearly correlated fuzzy number-valued functions. In particular, a definition of derivative is introduced by using representation functions and a linear isomorphism when the basic fuzzy number is non-symmetric ...

A fully fuzzy best-worst multi attribute decision making method with triangular fuzzy number: A case study of maintenance assessment in the hospitals

Applied Soft Computing, 2020
This paper introduces the best–worst method to solve multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) problems in the fuzzy environment. In the proposed method, there is no need to do all the possible pairwise comparisons.

FUZZY ORDERING OF FUZZY NUMBERS

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2004
In this paper we are interested in determining the fuzzy ordering, from smallest to largest, of any finite set of fuzzy numbers. We investigate two methods: (1) using a weak fuzzy ordering; and (2) using a strong fuzzy ordering. Employing a strong fuzzy ordering we show that any finite set of fuzzy numbers has a unique ranking from smallest to largest.

Fuzzy ordering of fuzzy numbers

2004 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37542), 2005
Fuzzy numbers cannot be easily ordered as ordinary real numbers. Several proposals have addressed this problem, each with some drawbacks and limitations. This paper renounces to the idea of finding a universal ordering method for fuzzy numbers and suggests to compute the degree by which an arbitrary permutation of fuzzy numbers is ordered.

Fuzzy Octonion Numbers and Fuzzy Hypercomplex Numbers

2019 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2019
In this work we contextualize the development of the analytical theory of fuzzy octonion numbers and present an approach inspired by the Cayley-Dickson construction which allows us to construct fuzzy hypercomplex numbers and investigate their properties.

Fuzzy Number Approximation

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 1998
As the number of parameters involved in an economic model is often uncertain, we propose that it be estimated using fuzzy numbers. Since we move in an environment of uncertainty, it is logical to leave room for deviation in estimating membership functions.
