Zero overshoot and fast transient response using a fuzzy logic controller [PDF]
In some industrial process control systems it is desirable not to allow an overshoot beyond the setpoint or a threshold, this could be a safety constraint or the requirement of the system.

Dimension theory and fuzzy topological spaces
J. M. Aarts introduced and studied a new dimension function, Hind, in 1975 and obtained several results on this function. In this paper, a new local inductive dimension function called local huge inductive dimension function denoted by locHind is introduced and studied. Furthermore, an effort is made to introduce and study dimension functions for fuzzy

Fuzzy and tile coding approximation techniques for coevolution in reinforcement learning [PDF]
PhDThis thesis investigates reinforcement learning algorithms suitable for learning in large state space problems and coevolution. In order to learn in large state spaces, the state space must be collapsed to a computationally feasible size and then ...

Generalized Hamiltonian biodynamics and topology invariants of humanoid robots
Humanoid robots are anthropomorphic mechanisms with biodynamics that resembles human musculo‐skeletal dynamics. This paper proposes a new generalized (dissipative, muscle‐driven, stochastic) Hamiltonian model of humanoid biodynamics. Also, (co)homological analysis is performed on its Lie‐group based configuration and momentum phase‐space manifolds.

Difference Lindelöf Perfect Function in Topology and Statistical Modeling
We develop the theory of Difference Lindelöf perfect functions. Through difference covers, we provide intrinsic characterizations; prove stability under composition, subspace restriction, and suitable products; and obtain preservation theorems.

Results about S2-paracompactness [PDF]
[EN] We present new results regarding S2-paracompactness, that we estab-lished in [1], and its relation with other properties such as S-normality, epinormality and L-paracompactness.Alghamdi, O.; Kalantan, L. (2022).

On the similarity relation within fuzzy ontology components [PDF]
Ontology reuse is an important research issue. Ontology merging, integration, mapping, alignment and versioning are some of its subprocesses. A considerable research work has been conducted on them.

Matrix formulation of fuzzy rule-based systems [PDF]
In this paper, a matrix formulation of fuzzy rule based systems is introduced. A gradient descent training algorithm for the determination of the unknown parameters can also be expressed in a matrix form for various adaptive fuzzy networks.

Methodology for adapting the parameters of a fuzzy system using the extended Kalman filter [PDF]
When we try to analyze and to control a system whose model was obtained only based on input/output data, accuracy is essential in the model. On the other hand, to make the procedure practical, the modeling stage must be computationally efficient. In this

Evolving Fuzzy Rule-based Classifiers from Data Streams [PDF]
A new approach to the online classification of streaming data is introduced in this paper. It is based on a self-developing (evolving) fuzzy-rule-based (FRB) classifier system of Takagi-Sugeno ( eTS) type.
